Julien Absalon (Orbea) has won the mountainbike cross country race in the Swiss capital of Bern.
Absalon made up for his World Cup race in Bromont ,where he lost a good rank due to technical difficulties.
Absalon ended with a gap of almost 40 seconds on Mathias Flückiger (Trek World Racing). Christoph Sauser (Specialized) became third on 2.46.
The young German rider Moritz Milatz (Multivan-Merida) ended fourth, Liam Killeen (Trek World Racing) fith.
