When the first snow is falling over Munich and the whole city is busy with
preparing for Christmas, the 3rd weekend will be far from peaceful: the Munich
Airdrome is going to happen for the first time on December 15th. The event will
take place in connection with the ?Super Cross Over Munich? weekend. For the
last time this year, the world's best dirt jumpers will show their abilities.
There can be no talk of winter sleep when Cam McCaul or Jamie Goldman flies
over the huge dirt jumps in Munich?s Olympic Hall.
?Super Cross Over Munich? takes place in the Bavarian metropol for the 8th time
this year since 1999. And its success can definitely not be concealed. Last
year, during the whole weekend 20,000 spectators came to the Olympic Hall ? a
location which usually hosts famous music bands. Having focused on disciplines
such as Super Cross and FMX during the previous years, there will be an
additional mountainbike dirt jump contest for the first time this winter. It
shows that the organisers of the event have realised the increasing importance
and interest in mountainbike sports. Besides motocross riders like Mike Metzler
or Ronnie Renner, the 15 best dirt jumpers in the world are prepared to start
at the opening of the event on Friday evening, December 15th.
Invited riders for this premiere-event are:
Cameron McCaul (USA)
Jamie Goldman (USA)
Paul Basagoitia (USA)
Carlo Dieckmann (GER)
Timo Pritzel (GER)
Lance McDermott (UK)
Grant Fielder (UK)

Lluis Lacondeguy (ESP)
Andreu Lacondeguy (ESP)
Kyle Strait (USA)
Ben Boyko (CAN)

The course consists of a step down at the beginning, followed by some massive
dirt jumps which stand 3-4 metres high and the guys will take home 10,000 Euros
in total as a Pre-Christmas gift. You should not let the chance slip to visit
this unique event. Since the run was extremely big on Friday night last year,
you should not miss the opportunity to purchase tickets in advance.

Be there when the dirt jump pros show their ? maybe most extreme ? tricks at

possibility in Munich: Be there or be square!
