BC, Canada (October 17, 2005) - The latest and greatest in components and
apparel from Race Face Performance Products is now online at Raceface.com,
including the new Diabolus Chainguide, new cross country seatposts and carbon
fiber handlebars, and the new Cadence Road Cranks - the first offering from
Race Face's forthcoming road line. Also online is Race Face's new Fall/Winter ?
line - which is in stores now.
The Diabolus Chainguide, an Interbike favorite, brings compatibility and ease
of installation to a whole new level, while still maintaining the durability
and performance Race Face is famous for. Featuring 50 degrees of articulation,
the Diabolus Chainguide is compatible with a wide range of frame and suspension
designs, while advanced materials used in both the upper and the lower guides
offer unsurpassed impact strength and wear resistance. The impressively
lightweight Diabolus chainguide also comes fully assembled and includes a newly
designed Race Face aluminum bashguard. Suggested retail pricing is equally
impressive at $115 for the complete set.
The newly introduced Next SL carbon handlebars are also online, including the
astonishingly light 99 gram Next SL carbon flat bar. These new carbon bars are
manufactured with a leading edge composite material, which allows Race Face to
achieve amazing strength at an impressively low weight. For the value minded
rider, Race Face's Next XC carbon bars, which share many of the SL line's
performance enhancing features, are also new and showcased online.
Rounding out Race Face's new 2006 mountain bike product offerings is their new
line of cross country seatposts, featuring an innovative light weight head
design which delivers infinite tilt adjustment independent from fore/aft
adjustment and distributes loads more efficiently than conventional designs.
The new head is featured on Race Face's Next SL Carbon post, the lightweight
aluminum Deus post and the value oriented Evolve XC post. Retail pricing is
$115, $58, $36 respectively.
But the biggest buzz around the Race Face tradeshow booth surrounded the new
Cadence Road Crank. Signalling Race Face's first official foray into the road
market, the Cadence Crank is a product of well over a decade of experience
designing high-performance cranksets, refined specifically for road riding.
Using Race Face's proven X-Type external bottom bracket interface and
incorporating some of Race Face's signature performance enhancing features, the
Cadence crank is available in compact and standard sizes and will retail for
$175.
