Kashi Leuchs Wins NORBA Race in Utah
Kashi Leuchs of Team Bianchi Agos took his first NORBA win in 6 years yesterday
when he rode a tactical race in the 3rd round of the prestigious US series.
Kashi beat out pre-race favourite Jeremy Horgan-Kobelski (USA) after surviving
an early race attack that would have left most riders back in the dust at the
high altitude venue.
The Deer Valley resort, which is home to Kashi?s first NORBA win back in 1999,
is at 2,500m and the altitude seems to please the 2 time Kiwi Olympian. Despite
a low finish in the time trial a day earlier, 27th, Kashi had the legs to ride

Freeride Mekka Saalbach Hinterglemm rocks
(sgh) ? For nearly one week the small town of Saalbach Hinterglemm turned into
a Freeride Mekka ? the second edition of the adidas Slopestyle Contest pulled
the fourty best freeriders in the world to Austria as well as 100 journalists
and photographers and the Who?s Who of the international freeride community.
After two impressive qualifier runs on Friday, the TOP 15 riders performed a
rock show in the finals today, flying over the massive obstacle course designed
by the Canadian adidas Rotwild rider Gareth Dyer.

Yeti-FOX's Graves wins Crankworx Nissan BikerX
Whistler, BC (July 29 and 30) - Everyone knows God loves Whistler, and he
blessed Crankworx with perfect weather and great racing. The Yeti-FOX Factory
Racing Team had such a great time, they're still up there.
Like every course in Whistler, the Nissan BikerX course is sick. You get big
jumps, fast berms, moto whoops and tech sections galore, all wrapped within the
monstrous Kokanee Slopestyle Course. The final contained some serious talent:
Brian Lopes, Mick Hannah, Cedric Gracia and Yeti-FOX's Jared Graves. Graves

SsangYong/King Racing Team stopt ermee
Veghel ? Het SsangYong King Racing Team zal vanaf seizoen 2007 geen
voortzetting vinden. De semi-internationale ploeg heeft als trail 2006
doorstaan, maar met het wegvallen van enkele financiele sponsoren is het voor
teammanager Mark Lemstra onmogelijk de ploeg draaiende te houden.
Dit resulteert is het feit dat de renners van het SsangYong King Racing Team
geen contractsverlenging krijgen en dus vrij zijn om voor een andere ploeg te

Nieuwe mountainbikeroutes Veluwe en Vallei
09-09-2005 Ede - Mountainbikers kunnen vanaf nu legaal in de Veluwse natuur
terecht. Tenminste als ze de speciaal voor hen uitgezette routes aanhouden. De
VVV ontwikkelde nieuwe mountainbikeroutes in de gebieden de Zuidwest Veluwe en
het Valleigebied.
