Cannondale Vredestein, Jakob Fuglsang (DEN) and Roel Paulissen (BEL), walk away

Record aantal Grassroots rijders in Benelux
Seizoen 2007 was uiterst succesvol voor de grassroots rijders in de Benelux.
Afgelopen jaar is er de eerste nationale titel behaald door een Kona rijder uit
de Benelux, Gilles Betrand. Hij is Belgisch kampioen bij de nieuwelingen. Naast
deze titel heeft Gilles zowat bij elke wedstrijd op het podium gestaan in

Cursus GPS in clubgebouw OWC

Absalon Franse renner van het jaar

Brentjens & Turpijn openen seizoen met tweede plaats
Mountainbiker Bart Brentjens is het olympisch jaar begonnen met de tweede
plaats tijdens de Mazda MTN National MTB Cup in Zuid-Afrika. Winnaar in
Jonkershoek-Stellenbosch werd de Zwitser Christoph Sauser, wereldkampioen
marathon bij de mountainbikers.
Brentjens, met de nationale selectie op trainingskamp in Zuid-Afrika, kon de
Zwitser tot de laatste ronde volgen. Een lekke band en een val zorgden ervoor
dat de Nederlander genoegen moest nemen met de tweede plaats. Bas Peters
eindigde als zesde.
