Minnaar Finishes 3rd at World Cup 1
The UCI Mountain Bike Downhill World Cup once again chose the north eastern
Spanish city of Vigo today to start the new international race season, which
this year will be made up of only 5 rounds. Once again the two and a half
minute track in Vigo proved to be tough, despite the elimination of the section
that claimed Greg Minnaar in 2006. This time, however, it was a complicated
weather pattern that swept across Vigo which made race tactics, tyre choice and
the start order all very key in determining the race results.

Michal Prokop: ready for Vigo
Michal Prokop and his fourcross weapon are 100% ready for the first round of
the UCI 4X World Cup 2007 taking place in Spanish Vigo this weekend. Both
qualification tonight and race tomorrow are going to be real challenge on this
though ?new school? 4X course? Stay tuned and keep fingers crossed;)

Dolphin: Worldcup DH ? 4X Vigo
Gee Atherton wint 4X; Jurg Meijer 18e na val in 1/8 finale Vigo, Spanje - De
eerste worldcup Four Cross van het seizoen 2007 is gewonnen door de Brit Gee
Atherton voor de Amerikaan Lopes en de Tjech Prokop. Joost Wichman uit
Nederland completeerde de finale en finishte als vierde. Dolphin biker Jurg
Meijer eindigde voor hem op een teleurstellende 18e plaats. In de 1/8 finale
kwam Meijer ten val nadat hij klem gereden zat tussen 2 renners.
Beaumont verrassende winnaar DH worldcup; Vink eindigt als 36e in de regen.
