UXC II online voting begins July 1st
Two months ago, on the hunt for riders worthy to represent Race Face in the
2006 TransRockies XC mountain bike race, Race Face put out the call for riders
with chain grease and fork oil in their blood, the unsung heroes of the
singletrack, and they have answered.
Now, it?s up to the online mountain bike community to choose which two teams
will represent Race Face in one of the most gruelling marathon mountain bike
races in the world ? with all expenses paid. Rider videos and bios of the first
four teams will be online at www.raceface.com , and the first round of voting

Race face team update
Race Face team rider and freeride legend, Darren Bearclaw has pulled out all
the stops again at this years ?Adidas Slopestyle,? defending his title and
collecting a check for 4,000 euros after thrilling the crowd by launching
One-Footers, 360s, No Foot Can Cans and his trademark Superman Seat Grabs.
Bearclaw?s outstanding efforts earned him the highest overall score of the
competition as he aired it out over the course?s combination of big mountain
drops, dirt jumps and style elements, including a giant yellow dump truck and
slanted wallrides.

Winners of UXC II
UXC Winners - Round One
Once again, the online community at RaceFace.com has spoken. By the slimmest of
margins, Team Saguenay captured the majority of votes in the first round of
Race Face?s UXC II and in doing so have earned the opportunity to compete in
this year?s TransRockies Challenge, representing Race Face. Team Saguenay (35%
of votes) just edged out the boys from Idaho, Team Tamarack Race Face (31% of
votes), by only a handful of votes.
Team Saguenay is comprised of Chicoutimi, Quebec?s Eric Tremblay and Daniel
